Gabe Vincent is a Nigerian-American professional basketball player who was born in Modesto, California. He attended St. Mary’s High School in Stockton and played college basketball at Utah Valley University. Vincent was drafted by the Erie Bay hawks in the NBA Development League in 2017 and later signed with the Oklahoma City Blue.

Vincent is the youngest of three brothers and his parents are both psychologists. His father, Franklyn, is Nigerian and his mother, Cynthia, is from Connecticut. They both earned doctorates in psychology. Vincent credits his parents for his success, saying that they always pushed him to do his best.

In high school, gabe Vincent played for the St. Mary’s Ravens and was a two-time All-Conference selection. He averaged 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists per game as a senior. After high school, Vincent played college basketball at Utah Valley University. As a junior, he averaged 14.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game.

He represented the Nigerian national team at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup in China, where he averaged 11.4 points and 1.2 rebounds. On August 24, 2019, he scored 23 points in a game against Poland. He is the first Nigerian national team player to qualify for the NBA Finals. Vincent was born in Lagos, Nigeria, on September 26, 1995. He played college basketball at the University of Houston. 

As a junior in 2017–18, he averaged 15.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game. After going undrafted in the 2018 NBA draft, Vincent signed with the Golden State Warriors. In his rookie season, he averaged 4.8 points and 2.5 rebounds in 9.9 minutes per game. Vincent was a member of the Nigerian national team that competed at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
